RENZO PIANO
Renzo Piano was born in Genoa in 1937 into a family of builders.
He developed strong attachments with this historic city and port and with his father’s profession.
While studying at Politecnico of Milan University, he worked in the office of Franco Albini. After graduating in 1964, he started experimenting with light, mobile, temporary structures.
In 1971, he set up the Piano & Rogers office in London together with Richard Rogers, with whom he won the competition for the Centre Pompidou.
He won the Pritzker Prize in 1998. He is known for designing London‘s tallest skyscraper The Shard and The New York Times Building in New York City. He was born in Genoa, Italy.
In 2006, Piano was selected by TIME as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. He was selected as the 10th most influential person in the « Arts and Entertainment » category of the 2006 Time 100.
In August 2013, he was appointed Senator for Life in the Italian Senate by President Giorgio Napolitano.

My comment:
I’m totally agree With Renzo because the architecture is trying to create something that its’s seems unreasonable and unreal for some person that they can see it impossible due to his contradiction with the physic laws , and trying to make it real to build it .and the architecture let you in every time starting all over again because the projects are different any building has a structure and a plan different.
